At Visa, we know that people are more than keywords on resume. While a resume can tell you about a candidate's education and prior job experience, it can't tell you about their passion, personality or values. We believe in looking past the factors that make a candidate look "good on paper" and instead choose to hire good people.

Real inclusion - creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident that they belong - means looking beyond things you think you can see on the surface, like education, previous companies and job titles.

That's why Visa is proud to host our annual Ready to Return program. We have opened our doors to a valuable talent pool: those who have taken extended time away from work. Whether they have stepped away from their careers to raise children or care for elderly parents, our goal is to provide these professionals with the tools, resources, connections and inspiration needed to successfully re-enter the workforce.
Recently, we welcomed 150 returners into our Foster City office for a full day of personal empowerment and inspiration: learning from professional instructors, hands-on activities and networking. Some attendees were invited to apply for open roles at Visa, and all left with access to additional online resources and training.
Watch the video to see how Ready to Return has encouraged women and men to return to the workforce with confidence.
