Navid Alamati, Visa Research scientist.

Biography

Dr. Navid Alamati joined Visa Research as a Staff Research Scientist in July 2021 after a postdoctoral position at UC Berkeley. Navid received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Michigan in 2020. Before that, he obtained his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology in 2015. 

Navid’s research is mostly focused on cryptography and computational complexity. As a member of the Advanced Cryptography team, he contributes to post-quantum cryptography and secure computation research projects.
