Dr. Shuo Wang joined Visa Research as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist in July 2021. Shuo received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Toledo in Ohio in 2014, where his research was focused on optimization and prediction models to help transportation agencies keep the roads and bridges in good condition while saving tax dollars. He received his M.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021, focusing on machine learning. Prior to joining Visa, he was a software engineer and consultant at AgileAssets for six years, developing software for state governments to manage and analyze the transportation infrastructure network based on data.
