Biography

Dr. Suvradip Chakraborty joined Visa Research as a Staff Research Scientist in March 2023. Prior to that, he was a Postdoctoral researcher in the Foundations of Cryptography group at ETH Zurich, hosted by Dennis Hofheinz. Even before that, he was a Postdoctoral researcher in the Cryptography Group at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria), hosted by Krzysztof Pietrzak. He completed his PhD. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. He works on cryptography and security at large with a particular interest in the theory and applications of public-key cryptography. He has published more than fifteen papers in leading cryptography conferences, including CRYPTO, EUROCRYPT, Theory of Cryptography Conference (TCC), ASIACRYPT, The International Conference on Practice and Theory of Public-Key Cryptography (PKC), Innovations in Theoretical Computer Science (ITCS).
