Yusan Lin

Dr. Yusan Lin joined Visa Research as a Research Scientist Intern in February 2018, and promoted to Staff Research Scientist. Yusan received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2018, and received her B.S. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Central University in 2012. Prior to joining Visa, Yusan was a Research and Teaching Assistant at Penn State University, teaching database management systems, and a Data Scientist Intern at Trendalytics.
As a member of the Artificial Intelligence team, her research interests are in data science and artificial intelligence to understand human behavior and marketing problems, in particular with a special focus on quantitative fashion research. She has been featured in several interviews and media outlets, and featured on Women Data Leaders, a KDD-sponsored event. She has published 10 papers in several international conferences and journals, including The Web Conference (WEB), Advances in Social Network Analysis and Mining (ASONAM), Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM) and others.
