Visa Click to Pay is Visa’s online checkout experience built on the latest ecommerce industry specifications – EMV Secure Remote Commerce. To make a purchase, users will no longer have to enter 16-digit primary account numbers, look up passwords or fill out long forms. To enjoy this easy, smart and secure online checkout experience consumers can simply click to pay with Visa when they see the Click to Pay icon where Visa is accepted.

Only Visa branded cards can be added and managed on Visa Click to Pay via issuer channels and Visa Click to Pay destination site. Non-Visa branded cards are no longer visible via issuer channels and Visa’s card management portal. Please contact corresponding card networks for your non-Visa cards.

You can visit the Visa Brand Asset Manager (VBAM) portal for Visa Click to Pay related assets such as email templates, digital banners, social media images, and landing pages. The marketing toolkit included in the previously distributed transition package contains more information on VBAM.

Merchants or service providers interested in implementing Visa Click to Pay can contact their Visa representative or visit visaready.visa.com site and click on “Get Started” or visit the eCommerce section to learn more. Visa encourages merchants to work with their existing payment service providers on implementation options for Visa Click to Pay.

Merchants are not required to accept cards from all the payment networks participating in Click to Pay. Merchants continue to have the choice to enable card acceptance like they do today.
