July 17, 2017 – More than 1,500 kids from across the United States joined their parents on a morning commute to Visa with one question in mind: What on earth do they do all day?
The mystery was solved on Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, April 27, which was celebrated in all Visa U.S. offices, from Ashburn to Austin to Visa’s headquarters in Foster City, California. A day fueled by chocolate chip pancakes and banana-stuffed French toast in Foster City started with kids shadowing their parents on various activities and then a special appearance by Olympic freestyle skier David Wise. Reading and play zones (curling, anyone?), coding labs and product demos were also on the agenda. All kids scored backpacks filled with giveaways related to Visa FIFA and Olympic sponsorships and more.
In this video, we asked kids what they think their parents do for a living at Visa. Cuteness ensued.
