The Innovation Lab will feature three unique areas highlighting different products and technologies that will transform the retail experience. From cutting-edge wearables to contactless payments, these technologies showcase what retail will look like in 2018 and beyond.

10:30 a.m. Visa CEO Al Kelly will participate in a fireside chat with CNBC’s Jon Fortt, co-anchor of Squawk Alley, in a session titled The Future of Commerce and Payments, alongside Neiman Marcus President and CEO Karen Katz. This discussion will explore new frontiers in digital transactions, bringing to consumers a new era of convenience, speed and security, as well as what the burgeoning forms of cash-free payment platforms has in store for the retail industry. Kelly, Fortt and Katz will discuss how altering payment methods impact both the retailer and customer, and how the confluence of mobile technology and the digitization of cash are upending how consumers think about spending, paying and accepting payments. To join in the conversation, tweet using the hashtag #PaymentInnovation.

11:30 a.m. If you want to hear more about innovation through disruption, Matt Smith, vice president of platform strategy at Visa, will be speaking on the Innovation Lab Stage. Smith will discuss the intrinsic role APIs play in enabling diverse platforms, apps, and systems to connect and share data with each other. Alongside a panel of leading retailers and experts, Visa will lead a conversation on how emerging APIs are empowering companies to stand out by transforming innovative ideas into new, secure and relevant commerce experiences.
